ATTENTION GOLDSBORO RESIDENTS: BECOME INVOLVED IN CITY GOVERNMENT
The City of Goldsboro is currently soliciting citizens to serve on advisory boards and commissions. These boards and commissions give citizens an opportunity to become actively involved in their community by providing recommendations to the City Council. The following is a list of boards and commissions that currently have vacancies or will have vacancies by the end of the year and the times and dates of their meetings.
BOARD/COMMISSION AND MONTHLY MEETING DATES
Commission on Community Relations and Development — Second Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Historic District Commission — First Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities — Third Thursday at noon
Planning Commission — Last Monday at 6 p.m.
Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission — Third Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Goldsboro Tourism Council — Fourth Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.
Residents of the City of Goldsboro who wish to be considered for appointment to one of these or any of our boards and commissions are requested to submit a completed application to the City Manager’s Office.
