ATTENTION GOLDSBORO RESIDENTS: BECOME INVOLVED IN CITY GOVERNMENT

The City of Goldsboro is currently soliciting citizens to serve on advisory boards and commissions. These boards and commissions give citizens an opportunity to become actively involved in their community by providing recommendations to the City Council. The following is a list of boards and commissions that currently have vacancies or will have vacancies by the end of the year and the times and dates of their meetings.

BOARD/COMMISSION AND MEETING DATES
Historic District Commission — 1st Tuesday of each month @ 5:30 p.m. 
Goldsboro Planning Commission — 3rd Monday and last Monday of each month @ 6:00 p.m.
Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities — 3rd Thursday of each month @ 12:00 p.m. 
Commission on Community Relations and Development — 2nd Tuesday of each month @ 6:00 p.m.
Goldsboro Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission — 3rd Tuesday of each month @ 6:00 p.m. 

Residents of the City of Goldsboro who wish to be considered for appointment to one of these or any of our boards and commissions are requested to submit a completed application to the City Manager’s Office no later than November 4, 2022.
