The Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities is responsible for planning, conducting, and publicizing activities designed to promote the employment and well-being of people with disabilities. The Hal Plonk Disability Awareness Walk is one of the Committee’s annual events. While COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the 2020 walk, the Committee was able to proceed with a scaled-down version for 2021.
