City Warns of Scam Targeting Developers

We have been made aware of a scam targeting developers who have previously submitted applications to the Planning Department for public hearings. These individuals are receiving fraudulent invoices from scammers who appear to be obtaining email addresses from applications included in public agenda packets.

Please note: the Planning Department only collects application fees, which are published on the City’s website and paid at the time an application is submitted. The Planning Department does not send invoices or request additional payments after submission.

If you receive an invoice claiming to be from the Planning Department, do not submit payment. Please report it to the Planning Department immediately.
