City to Host Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Luncheon

The City of Goldsboro’s Commission on Community Relations and Development will host its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Luncheon at noon Monday, Jan. 19, at The First PH Church, 1100 The First Church Road, Goldsboro.

Bishop W. Darin Moore will be the keynote speaker for the event. Moore is the presiding bishop of the Eastern District of the AME Zion Church.

Tickets for the luncheon are $40. Tickets may be purchased from any member of the Commission on Community Relations and Development. Names are listed on the city’s website, www.goldsboronc.gov. The deadline to purchase tickets is Jan. 9.
