Wood Wins Billy D. Ray Purchaser of the Year Award

Tim Wood, warehouse and procurement manager for the City of Goldsboro, was awarded the Billy D. Ray Purchaser of the Year Award on Wednesday, March 8, at the North Carolina Association of Governmental Purchasing (NCAGP) Spring Conference. The purpose of this award is to give appreciation and recognition to public purchasing professionals that have made significant contributions within the past two years to the success of their entities, their profession, and themselves. Wood, who has been with the City of Goldsboro for two years, was also recognized for achieving Lifetime Member status with the NCAGP.
