2021 Supplemental Benefit Open Enrollment — October 1 – October 31, 2020
To view 2021 Supplemental Benefit Plans, please click on this link https://pierceins.com/goldsboronc/. This will provide you with all of the tools and resources regarding Supplemental Benefits offered by the City of Goldsboro for the 2021 calendar year.

- Username: SSN
- Pin: Your pin is your last four of SSN and the last two digits of your birth year (Example: 123481)
The Pierce Representatives will be here for individual appointments, October 19-22. Please make sure to sign up for one of these appointments at http://signup.goldsboronc.gov/ if you would like them to provide you with assistance with your Supplemental Benefit needs. You will be required to wear a mask at all times during these appointments. It is highly encouraged for you to sign up for your benefits online individually if at all possible.
- Medical Benefit Open Enrollment — October 15 – October 31, 2020
To view 2021 State Health Plan information, please click on this link https://www.shpnc.org/2021-benefit-information-active-members. This will provide you with all of the tools and resources regarding Medical Benefits offered by the City of Goldsboro for the 2021 calendar year.
During Open Enrollment, all employees will be automatically enrolled in the 70/30 Plan. Employees must TAKE ACTION to reduce their premium and be enrolled on the 80/20 Plan. If employees want to reduce their monthly premium on either plan, they must TAKE ACTION. Remember….. the tobacco attestation must be completed to reduce premiums. If employees fail to TAKE ACTION during Open Enrollment, their monthly premiums will be considerably higher in 2021!

- Username: Normally your first name and first initial of last name and last 4 of Social Security number. (Example SUSANT1234)
- Password: A unique 8 to 15 combination of letters and numbers that you created. (If you need help with resetting your password, please don’t hesitate to contact Susan Thornton, HR Consultant)
