The public is invited to provide input on housing and non-housing needs in the city of Goldsboro for the FY2023-2024 Annual Action Plan (AAP). The Annual Action Plan outlines projects the City will undertake with its annual allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership Act (HOME) funds from HUD.

 

The City of Goldsboro’s draft of the Annual Action Plan is available for public review and written comment from April 14, 2023, through May 13, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. Copies will be placed at public access sites such as the desk of the City Receptionist and the office of the City Clerk, both at the City Hall Addition, 200 North Center Street, the Wayne County Public Library, 1001 East Ash Street, the Goldsboro Housing Authority, 1729 Edgerton Street, and on the City’s website at www.goldsboronc.gov. Written comments can also be emailed to FDWilliams@goldsboronc.gov. The City of Goldsboro places strong emphasis on utilizing citizen participation to develop its final version of the Annual Action Plan, which will allow the citizens, community partners, and the City to create a unified comprehensive strategy for meeting the housing and/or non-housing needs of Low-to-moderate income persons and families within the City limits.
